Sydney data and AI consultancy V2 AI has appointed Bojan Zivic as a director to ramp up its enterprise modernisation work.
Zivic, who specialises in cloud-native architecture and applied AI, brings more than a decade of experience across financial services, insurance and superannuation, including leading large migrations and building secure, serverless systems for global enterprises.
V2 CEO Craig Howe said he’s “excited” to have Zivic’s mix of hands-on technical experience and community leadership helping the business.
“His work across AI and cloud-native modernisation brings enormous value to our clients,” Howe said.
“Bojan’s ability to combine deep technical skill with community leadership aligns perfectly with our mission to drive real change through data and AI.”
Zivic is a recognised community voice in the AWS ecosystem.
He’s an AWS Ambassador and Community Builder, and the co-author of Cloud Native Anti-Patterns, a 2025 guide to avoiding common pitfalls in enterprise cloud programmes. He’s set to speak at this month’s CloudCon in Sydney.
V2 AI says Zivic’s recent work includes using “agentic AI” to speed up documentation and code upgrades for a major payments provider, modernising nearly 20 business-critical applications in three months and cutting capex, as well as helping an energy retailer reduce tech debt and security risk by folding AI into its software development workflow.
“V2 has built a reputation for leading enterprise transformation through data-driven and AI-powered solutions. Joining the team allows me to continue helping organisations modernise faster and more sustainably using the latest in cloud-native and AI practices,” said Zivic.
V2 raised $30 million from Columbia Capital in early 2024 to grow its data, software and cloud team across Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
