Albert Zomaya

Albert Y. Zomaya is currently is Peter Nicol Russell Chair Professor of Computer Science and Director of the Centre for Distributed and High-Performance Computing in the School of Computer Science at the University of Sydney, Australia.
Prior to that he was the Chair Professor of High Performance Computing & Networking (2008-2021).
Prof Zomaya was an Australian Research Council Professorial Fellow during 2010-2014 and held the CISCO Systems Chair Professor of Internetworking during the period 2002–2007 and also served as the Head of School for 2006–2007. He is a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science and the Royal Society of NSW.
