Need a little extra fuel in the tank to power your startup’s growth? Global payments fintech Airwallex is giving founders the chance to win a $10,000 acceleration grant.
The Melbourne-born unicorn is celebrating its recently announced partnership with Formula 1 racing team McLaren with a new competition to help businesses fast-track their growth.
Airwallex is giving away more than $30,000 in cash and prizes to mark the McLaren partnership and the homecoming of Aussie young-gun driver Oscar Piastri to Melbourne for the Formula 1 Grand Prix in March.
It’s welcome news for startups looking for a funding boost, whether it’s to ramp up marketing efforts or scale up operations while on the road to world domination. Businesses of all sizes are being invited to enter for a chance to win a $10,000 business acceleration grant and a range of exclusive experiences and Airwallex x McLaren Formula 1 Team merchandise.
How to enter the competition
Aimed at helping startups looking to scale and make their global ambitions a reality, the competition is easy to enter. All you have to do is share how you want to accelerate your financial processes in 2024 at Airwallex’s competition page here. Competition entries are open until March 20.
Airwallex General Manager Luke Latham shared a few tips for those keen to enter.
“We’re looking for Australian small businesses with big ambitions. Both in business and on the racing track, you need to operate with speed, precision and determination. We want to celebrate that grit, and reward those who have a bold vision and a growth mindset,” he told Startup Daily.
