It’s not every day you get to pitch for US$1 million in investment. But then again, the Startup World Cup in San Francisco is not your everyday startup pitch comp.
Three Australian startups – Adiona, Deeligence and GravityFit – were among 98 finalists from 100 regional competitions across 60+ countries to fly to San Francisco for the “number one startup competition in the world”, and the chance to score A$1.5m in funding from US VC Pegasus Ventures.

An AI-driven logistics platform powering millions of low-carbon deliveries for companies such as Australia Post’s StarTrack Courier has taken out the Startup World Cup Sydney pitch competition. The win earns cofounder Richard Savoie a trip to the Grand Finale in San Francisco where he’ll compete for US$1 million in investment this October.
Hosted by Startup&Angels, together with global VC Pegasus Tech Ventures, the Sydney edition of the Startup World Cup saw 10 startups pitch for the chance to represent Australia.

Startup World Cup | Melbourne
Melbourne-based AI-tech startup Deeligence just took out top gong at the Startup World Cup 2025 regional event and earned a place on the global stage at the Grand Finale in San Francisco this October – and the chance to compete for US$1 million in investment.
Hosted in Melbourne, 10 high-growth startups pitched live to a panel of heavyweight investors. Deeligence not only impressed the judges with its AI-powered due diligence platform, but made it clear they would be a force to be reckoned with for years to come.
