One of the world’s fastest growing AI startups, Swedish “vibe-coding” unicorn Lovable, with A$2.75 billion valuation just eight months after its launch, has teamed up with Australia’s Build Club to launch Lovable Learning Academy.
It’s a platform of Lovable’s hands‑on curriculum and designed to help anyone go from zero to launching a live vibe-coded app, with Build Club’s solo founder, Annie Liao, front and centre of its rapid success
“Seeing this come to life in just six weeks has been crazy,” Liao said.
“Talisha, Lovable’s growth lead, gave us mere weeks to pull it off, shows how fast AI is moving! We booked a whole office space for one weekend in SF, recorded every session (20+ modules in three learning tracks), shaped it into our course format, marketed it, then ran a midnight beta test before launch.”
Build Club is its own rapid success story, 15 months after launching, with the edtech raising $1.75 in a pre-Seed round last year, led by Airtree and Blackbird, with support from Archangel Ventures, Co Ventures and Treble VC, as well as Startmate’s Small Bets Fund.
Liao set out to democratise AI education through a gamified e‑learning platform and build the best place in the world to learn AI. She now has a team of five, split between San Francisco and Australia.
Build Club head of e-learning Ebaad Rehman said they turn beginners into AI builders who launch real products in a single weekend.
“Lovable Learning Academy shows that hands-on projects and rapid iteration beat passive tutorials,” he said.
They launched the academy month co-designing it with the Lovable team. It focuses on providing an end-to-end solution which allows AI companies to build courses, get users certified, active community forums and also eventually monetise their skills.
“We’ve even rolled this out to enterprise customers,” Liao said.
“Upskilling traditionally ‘non technical’ employees is now an executive priority as they often hold the subject matter expertise.
“Vibe coders across sectors help each other solve real problems – showing that learning together accelerates impact.”
Brenton Anderson who runs community engagement at Lovable they partnered with Annie and the Build Club team to create a 20+ part education series for the Lovable platform and they exceeded every expectation.
“Despite having a tight timeline, the Build Club team demonstrated exceptional flexibility and dedication, working closely with us to ensure the series met our needs. Their motivation and expertise were evident throughout the project resulting in a high quality, engaging educational series that looks amazing,” he said.
“This was a fantastic collaboration. If you’re looking to create an educational series to showcase your product I highly recommend working with Build Club.”
Beyond Lovable, Liao said Build Club is working with a number of AI companies, such as Exa, Lindy AI, and Crew AI to develop academies to help people learn the latest AI tools.
It will also continue evolving the open‑source curriculum on its platform, running year‑round cohorts as AI advances.
