Startup working space Tank Stream Labs has set up shop in a third state, opening the doors to its newest site, Tank Stream Suites Adelaide, today.

The CBD site across two floors at 63 Pirie Street spans 2000-square-metres and includes private offices, open-plan coworking areas, boardrooms, meeting rooms, quiet booths, breakout zones, premium end-of-trip facilities and event spaces.

Tank Stream Labs CEO Bradley Delamare said the space is designed to support growing businesses across all industries

“There is a significant amount of investment and development happening in the South Australian economy. The startup ecosystem is booming,” he said.

“This office is more than just a place to work – it is a professional, collaborative environment built to assist with business growth.”

The Adelaide opening takes the number of TSL sites to seven, with Melbourne CBD opening last year and five sites in Sydney: Martin Place, Barangaroo, Australia Square and Campbell Street, near Chinatown. More than 200 companies are based at Tank Stream.

Later this month Tank Stream will host a final farewell to the Sydney Startup Hub in Wynyard, hosting the two-day S2S Summit there, Aug 20-21 before the NSW government shuts down the site to startups, leaving some of the current tenants without new facilities when it’s relocated to a still unannounced location Tech Central.

Last month ASX-listed Scalare Partners announced plans to acquire Tank Stream in $5.5 million deal.

Delamare founded TSL 12 years ago as one of the Sydney’s original startup coworking spaces.

The CEO said to mark the opening of Tank Stream Suites Adelaide, they’re offering special discounts for new members. Details at tankstreamlabs.com
